The Garden of my Life

What would you see Lord if you walked today
In the garden of my life?
Would you see the flowers of contentment
Or see the weeds of strife

Would you know I was your servant
By seeing the things I sowed
Or would you have a need to say
More good things need to grow

I know I need to be more calm
When troubles come my way
And I just have to go to you
You'll take the weeds away

My garden will be beautiful
With happiness and peace
If only I will trust in you
You'll give your sweet release

I'll gladly pull the wicked weeds
Of woe and discontent
And really call upon your name
When I feel weak and spent

You'll give me wondrous flowers
In the garden of my soul
And clean me deep within my heart
And make me pure and whole

Melinda, Lovely poem...very nice rythym & rhyme...and above all-- convicting message! We all must ask what is in our garden, our home, our life, that needs to go. Thankyou, and submit more! Pat
