Encourage Yourself in the Lord
Endure hardness as a good soldier:
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in
you? Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves
likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased
from sin. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; we
are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about
in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made
manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus'
sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh, and not
only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh
patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not
ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost
which is given unto us. Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak;
for your work shall be rewarded. Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be
established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. Be of good courage, and he
shall strengthen your heart all ye that hope in the Lord.

take it, eat it and live.
