There will be times that seem dry…desert like. You may feel abandoned and alone. You are not. He is there.
There will be times the struggle is so great, and so intertwined with problems, that have no visible solution. He is there.
There will be days without joy; nights without peace or sleep, and it seems they go endlessly on…empty…void of His presence. He is there.
It is during these times, He is waiting, and patiently loving you. He quietly guides, urging and allowing you to stand on wobbly legs. He is allowing you to use all that He has taught you. So go ahead! Though you may not “feel” like it, cry out to Jesus. Though the room seems empty, commune with Him in prayer. He is there.
When it seems He has left you, and with Him, all strength, continue to pour your little bit out to others. Know that the dawn will come and once again you will be acutely aware of His presence. Hear His voice… “I AM here.”

Patricia, I really enjoyed your article. I am going through a lot right now financially because my hours got cut back and I really enjoyed reading how God is there even during the hard times. Keep up the encouragement. Thanks for your comment on my poem. Melinda
