I want to talk to everyone out there about Esther Chapter 1 :verses 9-22.

In Chapter one of the Book of Esther, Queen Esther who was the wife of King Ahasuerus, threw a party at the king's palace. Esther 1:9 says " Also Vashti the queen made a feast for the women in the royal house which belonged to king Ahasuerus. On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and CArcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king, to bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal , to shew the people and princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on. But the queen Vash-ti refused to come at the king's commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him. " Later in verse 15, the princes of the land say " What shall we do unto the queen Vashti according to law, because she hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and ot all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus. " In verse 19, they propose that a royal commandment be written that Vashti was to come no more before king Ahasuerus and that the king was to give her royal estate unto another.

When I read this passage of scripture the Lord spoke to me about how the king can be symbolic of Himself. Vashti can represent the bride, or church, who is not available. The question came to my mind , Am I available for the King of Kings? Has God given you a command and you have not answered it? Do you refuse to obey his voice? Vashti was replaced because of her refusal to come when the King called her. She was supposed to appear before people who were at the kings party. She shamed Him when she did not come at his command. Are there people that The King of Kings is asking you to reach and to come before and you are refusing his wish? God told me that if I or others kept refusing his voice and commands that he would find someone who would listen and replace the call. I believe if we do not obey the voice of God , that he will find someone else who will. Vashti was replaced because of this with Esther. Open your heart to God. Be willing and Obediant and you shall eat of the Good of the Land. Do not be afraid to come before the King and to appear at His party . Do not be afraid to appear before his people . He wants to display you to people to show for His glory. Please do not harden your heart and refuse to obey and appear before the King and his princes because of stubborness, rebellion, selfishness, or fear. God bless
