Less of You

I want to tell you this past week, I have discovered the key to dealing with what we call “stuff.” So, if you’re having problems with your spouse, your children, your messy coworkers, nosy neighbors, and church folk who won’t do right, or even if things are going well (keep living they’re subject to change), you need to read this. I’ve dealt with pure valley of Ben-Hinnom and folks, I made it.

The key: There needs to be less of you.

I know this is not going to go over very well with some, but you don’t need to spend more time with your spouse, children, coworkers, neighbors, and church members. The situation calls for less of you.

We know Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, made the lame walk, and performed several other miracles that culminated with his death and resurrection. But before all that happened, a profound statement was made by our good friend Johnny B. He said there needs to be less of you.

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” – John 3:30

I was still there dealing with my dilemma but I gave the reigns over to Jesus. My situation did a one-eighty when I focused more on him instead of me and my circumstances.

If you want your state of affairs to change for the better there has to be less of you.
