I look outside and see the trees, now so green where they once were bare, and wonder how I missed the changes in them, the leaves weren't just suddenly there.
The change had been so gradual, just a little more each day till suddenly you notice the end result, as you go along your way.
It reminded me of how different it is when God moves into your heart, the changes Jesus brings as He transforms your life give you a brand new start.
And unlike the trees, the changes inside are sudden and so complete, that people that knew you before Jesus came in, a new person now will meet.
Jesus did that for me, He wiped away all the sorrow, my life began anew, for in Him I discovered what was real, the things that were really true.
In following Him, I didn't have to worry, I could trust where He would lead, and what a comfort to know that He cares so much that He'd supply all I'd need.
There was much more to come, for Jesus knew the secret desire of my heart, and in His timing, my world again would change, for He gave me a brand new start.
One day in May, with the sun shining bright, we met, and my heart just knew,
that this was surely a gift from God, for I was already in love with you.
The love we share is a special thing, for each day it is fresh and new, and again each morning I awake in joy, knowing I live my dream come true.
Whatever the hours ahead may hold, the love is a constant right through, and I get to find a thousand new way to say how much "I love you!"
