Gentle Leader and Guide through Birth Pains.

“He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young.” (Is. 40:11 –NKJV)

The Lord is our shepherd. He not only takes absolute care of us as we are but also considers the things yet to be, the ideas, dreams and visions that are conceived in us.
When we are ‘pregnant’ and awaiting delivery or about to deliver, i.e. when we carry some God-given seeds that are about to become fruits, an antenatal that is transiting to post natal, troubles, fears, doubts, weakness will set in.

The strength of the Lord is what we require and is made available to us at such periods. Towards the end and like a pregnant woman in labor, the pain increases and might even become almost unbearable. Nevertheless, when the midwives and doctors finish their work, assisting and perfecting the expectant mother, there is great relief and joy at the arrival of the baby: a fruit, a blessing, something new, a promotion, a breakthrough, an increase. Our fears and doubts tend to increase as we approach the fulfillment of are dreams. We have a divine midwife of our dreams and visions in God Almighty. He helps us in our doubts, fears and pains as our vision materializes. PRAISE THE LORD!

In conclusion, we should never be afraid of birthing our God –given visions and dreams waiting on God as “He watches over His word to perform it” in our lives. (Jer. 1:12)
