When will we realize?
When will we believe?
That all we really need
Is Him - Jesus Christ?
He sees our depravity
He understands our frailty
All He wants is our hearts in all sincerity
If we would just love Him with equal intensity.
When will we cease to struggle
With the Arms that reach out to us to cuddle?
With every gesture they make
His love we refuse to take.
When will it become clear?
That all we hold so dear
Is nothing compared to what we’ll receive
When we give ourselves wholly to Him?
