The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him; and the LORD shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
Deuteronomy 33:12
The words of God tell me I am His beloved. That makes me a recipient of His safety. My deep fear of rejection often drives me to worry. What might someone think of me when I’m caught in human error? How will I handle my worthless feeling if friends tear me down to another?
The Father reminds me that He will cover me all day long. I’ll even dwell between His shoulders. What safer place could there be? I choose to lay my fears aside and if I feel wounded from rejection, I desire to rest in His presence. I am continually residing between His shoulder blades, right inside His heart and mind.
Prayer: My Father God, I magnify You. I bless You for covering me and carrying me between Your shoulders. Amen.
This week, when you feel fear, take a moment and consciously choose to rest under the Father’s covering, right between His shoulders.

Beautiful! I didn't even know that verse in Deuteronomy existed, but I love that picture of being held between His shoulders, right in His heart. That is where we are safe from the fear of people. Thankyou very much for your encouragement!
