Every morning I awake, knowing this is a special day to me, for it will be filled with love and a gift or two or three.
These aren't gifts that are bought in a store, they come to me for free, wrapped in joy and tied with ribbons of delight, beautiful to see.
There is the gift of the look in your eyes, the love I see shining there, and the gift of the touch of your hand on mine, full of tender care.
The lovely sound of your voice saying "I love you" in a tone so very rare, you shower me with such wondrous gifts of the love that we two share.
The sun shines bright upon my world, lighting the path at our feet, we follow it along, watching the clouds in the sky, a fresh breeze upon our cheeks.
We discover new things as we go along,, we trod unfamiliar streets, but grace abounds, bells of joy ring aloud, whenever our glances meet.
How I love each day as it begins, and each hour as it goes by, filled with love, and joy and hope, making my heart soar so high.
I thank God above for giving me you, for the love as big as the sky, words can never say all I mean, but oh, how I love to try!
I'm amazed every day at how much God loves me, for He knew just what to do,
He not only rescued me, He made all my dreams come true.
Jesus transformed my heart and my life, He made them both brand new,
and then to make my joy complete, He gave me love, in you!
