To thine own self be true?
Well, yeah, that's great, but do you know the real you?
Are you aware of the treasure that was deposited in your heart?
Have you discovered the breath He breathed to give your life its start?
Are you privy to the Master's plan to give you great success?
There's riches beyond your wildest dreams buried within your dress.
Oh yes, your dress, that earth suit that carries the real you around,
whether its white, black or olive toned there's treasure to be found.
Or did you suppose that the suit you wear made out of dirt and clay was
the real you?
No way! Not so! Away with that! There's more than meets the eye!
You, my friend, are greater than your flesh. You were made to fly!
You were fashioned to soar above all you've known,
to ascend above every hindrance, but never to fly alone.
So put your hand in the Master's, and let His current flow
that washes away the dirt and clay so that others like you may know
that there is treasure in them too.
Be filled with glory and splendor, having loving kindness and joy,
excelling in all you do. Go for it! It's in there, dear child!
