The lonely girl walks the cold dark street
Searching in vain for something to eat.
The rain begins to pour.
Won’t someone let her in their door?
She has no bed to sleep in.
Just an empty garbage bin.
She has no new clothes to wear,
Doesn’t someone care?
She has no mom or dad
To go to when things are bad.
By herself she fends.
Won’t someone be her friend?
She has no friends to talk to
Or do the things girls do.
She has no one to guide her.
Won’t you help her sir?
She is an orphan,
Living in a garbage can.
She lives all alone,
Won’t someone let her in their home?
A mission up ahead she spies
And smells the baking apple pies.
The rain stops its pour,
She walks right in the door.
She finds a bed to sleep in
That’s better than her old garbage bin.
They give her warm clothes to wear,
Someone really does care.
A Father she does find,
To go to when in a bind.
All she has to do is pray,
And night will turn to day.
She has a friend to talk to.
She has life anew.
She has a guide night and day.
He leads her on her way.
She’s been adopted by a king,
And has a new song to sing.
She is no more alone,
Because someone led her home.
He can be your Father, Friend and Guide,
If you’ll just by Him abide.
He’ll make you clean and pure
And change what you were.

Heart wrenching story. You describe her situation really well. Take care with a rhyming poem to keep the rhythm consistent. Because non of the others are, I find the last rhyme forced and it jars the end for me. So, maybe just a little more work. :-)
Powerful moving anointed poetry!!!
We sure do have a lot to be grateful for and to be Thankful when we have someone that Loves us and a roof over our head,s and most of all Knowing and being Loved by God!!!
