As we linger in your presence, let the ‘dew of Heaven’ come down
May the ‘manna from your storehouse’, fill us here on 'Holy Ground'
Take these moments that we give you, fill our lives with Heavenly love
As our spirits rise to worship, guided by the gentle 'Dove'.
Take us to that ‘inner throne room’, as our minds are fixed on you
Help us open up our treasures; draw from us that worship true
Tune our hearts to be receptive, as we listen to your voice
Let us lie in sweet surrender; as we make the Lord our choice.
But stir us Lord for all around us, is a people lost in sin
Many do not know Lord Jesus; they also, can have joy within
Joy that comes through just abiding, in this Heaven sent holy ‘vine’
Hear our prayer as we cry out Lord, through their darkness make us shine.
Shine like Moses on the mountain, speaking words with acts of love
So the people get the message, there is a way to God above
As we've lingered in your presence, mortal man and God - as friends!
We must rise and from these moments, share this joy that never ends.
So here us as we go Lord Jesus, in our selves we’ve naught to give
To the needy people round us, some have lost the will to live
Give us words and dreams and visions, strength and courage without end
Though it means our ‘hands get dirty’, in Jesus name we’ll be their friend
As we’ve lingered in your presence, we’re refreshed from springs above
Earthly things don’t seem to matter, in this atmosphere of love
Holy Spirit ’twas you that led us, to this secret, inner place
Equipped inspired for you to use us, to demonstrate God’s love and grace.
