Driven faster by life’s deals
Most times, by call’s zeal.
Event has taken me farther and farther;
In the belly of situations and mission.
God by his spirit,
Beyond my widest understanding,
Had compelled circumstances to trap me;
And sometimes, to transport me
Into the far and near Cities and remote places.
“Welcome” I’d heard in some places.
And with some tones, scolded by many faces!
I’d witnessed consoling peace,
And sometimes broken into pieces,
By the rod of labour and weather.
But it is my faithful labour,
Do not scare me oh rigour!
I have chosen this portion in life,
It is a privilege, He called me!
What could have been so blessed?
Than being a faithful labourer
Of the faithful God.
I’d gone to land fenced by crust,
And sea bounded by frost.
I’d met with men of familiar tongues,
And Souls of unheard tongues.
It is a beloved burden indeed,
And this is uncommon of my Lord’s deed;
The burden of the cross!
Taken to many known and unknown places,
And shared with many familiar and unfamiliar faces;
His plans of love for all races.
That’s what I carry about with God’s grace.
To lands far and near my nativity,
To land beyond my familiarity.
God’s love had driven me this farther
And I’d chosen this reconciliation trip rather.
Ever since projected by such grace,
That saves thousands from sin’s grave.
Exploring Satan’s captivity
Giving them everlasting liberty.
Bringing back to the throne of mercy
This lost generation
Has been my committed concerns!
This course I have chosen rather,
To go places
And meet all kind faces!
With the God’s love for all races.
