Title: "From The Depths Of Time"
Style: Progressive Power Metal
Rating: 9.25(scale 1-10)
by C.W. Ross
While this is the debut release from the band each of the band's individual members have loads of musical experience under their belts.
The music that the CD offers up is a progressive power metal sound.
The songs are very rich with lead guitar parts. Those parts are provided both by band member Yan Leviathan and Roger Moore, whom they brought in to perform all the guitar solo parts.
Roger is a good addition to the mix with his flamethrower like guitar solos.
You'll also find very rich keyboard sounds provided by band member Jonah Weingarten.
Add on top of all of that bass parts from David Ellefson and the rich flawless vocals of lead singer Lance King.
Add all of that together and you get the rich, full top-shelf sound that's offered up on this release.
The concept of the release through the songs is about guardians that are all around watching over us and waiting for judgement day to come back for
If you're looking for some good progressive power metal music to enjoy then you need to hunt up this release.
