The heart of God begins with reaching of souls. Souls we see pass our eyes each and every day. We watch them, we see the pain and despondency within them. But for some reason we don't reach them for the kingdom.
We wonder why our neighborhoods are in such peril. Which drugs, and violence plummet us and leads us into our house like prisoners awaiting lock up.
We have neglected the first commission. Souls.
When we reach souls for the kingdom of God, we will enlarge our borders, and the ministry will flourish as God intended.
We wouldn't have to concentrate so much on the offering and meeting the financially needs for the church. God has even given us a plan for it. It is called GIVING.
GIVING involves not only the work of the ministry, but in every aspect which God unctions you to.
We should not have to see tragedy in our communities or the world around us to revive the fire for missions. Prayer is an all consuming fire, it revives the plan of God within our hearts. His word is consuming each and every day.
The truth of the matter is, we take little time out for the word of God. And the plans of God. We make our own plan which contains an element of truth in the scriptures, and the results are very small.
In order to win this world for Christ, the lost fire must be revived. The truth is the world is changing. Every day, the enemy is seeking to remove the power of God from our lives. And we shouldn't help the enemy by ignoring the plans of God, or quenching the Holy Spirit.
