What Does God Want?

What Does God Want?

God wants my worship.
It pleases Him when I sing.
God wants my prayers,
And just me, more than anything.

God wants my praise.
Morning, noon and night.
He wants to bless me,
And keep me in His light.

That’s why He made me.
To serve and worship Him.
God really loves me, and
I’m so glad I belong to Him!

A very good poem, God wants our worship, He wants our praise, but more than anything He just wants us. You are a wonderful poet, you have a gift to reveal the truth in poetry.

Julia, you have captured the essence of why we were created in this poem, that of bringing pleasure to God. Thank you for sharing. Thomas
