God Said "I Love You"
On the day before Easter I took a field trip with my Earth Science class that I'm taking at the UNIVERSITY. One of the stops was a gem show in a near by county. There were many venders selling goods including stone beads.
With the help of a friend, I bought two strands of beautiful beads. One was carved into the shapes of leaves and the other was a strand of facetted beads. These are beads cut at different angles, much like diamonds.
When we got back on the buss, my friend and I counted the beads. There were 13 leaves and 12 of the facetted beads. A week passed and from time to time I would look at them for the fun of it. They were lovely beads. Anyway, last Saturday, I cut the strands so that the beads would be ready to make into jewelry. I counted them again for the fun of it. There were 12 facetted beads and 13 leaves.
Last night, I was playing with them again and counting. Before this, I had found one facetted bead on the ground and put in the bag with the others, thinking that I had left it out by accident. As I was counting the facetted beads I realized that the number was uneven. I counted them again and there were 13 beads! I could not believe it so I counted again. There were 13! God had done a miracle. He came to say "I love you." We serve a God who can do the impossible. We serve a God who is always saying "I love you."

It's a gift to be able to know God's love through not only the large blessings in life, but the little things as well. I have to admit to taking my sight for granted until I read the joy you wrote about in this piece. Bless you my friend!
