Return To Ages drives us back to the year 1754 and unveils the secrets surrounding Duke Clayton, a British that settled in the land of Dean-Suradean, Northwest of Sudanese Kingdom; having supervised the completion of the royal palace. Duke was in the process of marrying the king’s daughter-princess Sudita. But his life was cut short at his prime by Halalkum, the captain of the host of Dean Suradean’s army, who also secretly desired the hand of the African-Arab princess for marriage.
Given the circumstances surrounding his mysterious death, the spirit of Duke, charged by an unfulfilled emotional desires, loomed through the darkness and it transformed into his physical form and he came back to existence! For decades Duke continued lamenting for vengeance from a cave, in the thick forest of Alagirani, situated in a remote village of Aiona; northwest of Nigeria.
Return To Ages tells the story about a secondary school-student, Ameh Ikeh, and his curious and over-zealous classmates; Attah and Oche. How they stole a ‘map page’ from a book kept inside a briefcase. The book, which originally belonged to a popular treasure hunter; Emani Obochi, who kept the book in trust with their school authority.
Ameh and his two friends decided to work as a team. The youngsters made their secret plans and while on holidays, they blindfoldedly raced towards the village of Aiona to discover the wealth buried in the forest of Alagirani, as stated on the controversial map page. None of them knew the entire circumstances were master minded by the spirit of Duke who rather initiated them to hunt for him.
The storyline also captures; Emani Obochi. The inveterate adventurer, who was disgusted by the discovery of losing the most valuable page of his book. He learns about Ameh and his cronies and he retreats to his native home to fetch his reserved copy. Then with one common interest, he raced towards the village of Aiona.
Their collective quest to hunt for hidden treasures and Dukes desire for a lasting peace set the stages for supernatural encounter! The story crackles with more trouble. Ameh and his friends are plagued by insecurities when they find themselves in the eighteenth century and the heart of Dean-Suradean, with the mandate to execute vengeance for Duke’ death and undercover many secrets against the ruthless Halkakum.
