There is a soul to this person, someone deeper than the external quality that with your eyes you see. There is an internal, perpetually ever growing and developing individual that is me.

I cannot be defined by mere animate properties, yet I will take ownership of all things and qualities shaping me.

My color although a part of who I am, it is not me. My voice and appearance though useful in expression and creativity they too are not me.

I am the sum total of a beautiful expression of God and while becoming, it is unknown as to what I will be… Yet, I am!

"I am the sum total of a beautiful expression of God and while becoming, it is unknown as to what I will be… Yet, I am!" What a great line for an ending. A good description of the soul. Thanks, Thomas
