I wrote this in a time of my life when I had walked away from the Lord for a period of time. I went through a lot of hurt and pain but the Lord saw me through it and now I have a tremendous desire to reach souls who don’t have that living hope in Jesus.

Lost Soul

Life storms are raging
Problems engaging
Another soul lost in the wind

Storm clouds come and go
Tears flow
Another soul lost in the sea

Darkened sky without a star
Lives falling apart
Another soul lost in emptiness

Tired of holding on as strong winds blow
Letting go
Another soul lost forever more

With a few well-crafted, impassioned brush-strokes you bring across the greatest tragedy of all time; and it's happening around us, every day. I feel the storm, the winds, the emptiness, the exhaustion, the horror of looking at the night sky and not finding one single guiding star. Dear God, have mercy on me for the ones I have passed by...
