Because He is risen
It is a New Day
And those that languished in prison
Can with confidence say,
‘Our sins are gone
Washed away by the Son.’
Because He is risen
We too were raised with Him
And now seated with Him
In heavenly places
Far above thrones in every place
There is every reason to sing
Because He is risen
He sits at the Father’s Right Hand
Interceding for us
Pleading our case
Pleading His blood
Absent in the Body is present with the Lord.
Because He is risen
The Spirit, Comforter has come.
Death is swallowed up in victory.
Life more abundant has come
Eternal life has come
Let praises ring for the King of Kings.
