There was once a woman who wanted a pretty little garden that she could enjoy and find peace for her soul. She chose a spot and set about preparing the ground. When everything was just right, she chose the perfect little flowers and arranged them in the warm soil. Within a short time, a lovely garden grew and she would spend many summer days amongst the fragrance and beauty of this quiet place. Often she would find herself reflecting on the goodness of her heavenly Father.
There came a time when she was called to leave this place to serve Him in a far away spot. She would leave her friends and that which had been called home;she would leave that which was familiar, and the comfort of her 'quiet place'. As the days went by lonliness enveloped her. Though she served by doing whatever task that laid before her, life was not as she expected. An opportunity arose for her to plant a garden in this new setting. The soil was different, clay instead of loam, that held the water in little pools. And the flowers were not of her choosing or preference. It was sometimes thru her tears that she tended this garden, wishing that it could have been like the one she had at home.
One day, a clump of greenery sprang up from the soil that was not in keeping with anything she had planted. As she bent to pull it out, she felt a quiet prompting deep within her to let it be. Within a few weeks the green clump produces buds with a very familiar look. From those buds bloomed the most beautiful patch of her favorite flowers that she had never planted! How could this be? Again came the quiet prompting deep within her soul: "As i was with you there, I am with you here. As i cared for you there,I will provide all that you need in this place. This is my bouquet to you."
