Give not into the darkness of the night.
Illuminate thy world with God’s pure light.
Deceive desolation with exhaled breath.
Do not give freely to the lust for death.
Live! Live forever where the truth is found.
Discard the dark and grasp the light of morn.
From a lost sinner salvation is born,
and stretches its wings into the grace of day.
Beautifully untouched as it flies away,
to reside in purity forever.
Rejoice for our Father is ever near.
The faintest sigh of our breath He can hear.
For peace is only a heartbeat away.
Take up your cross and follow Christ today.

I Love this. Simplicity with efectiveness. 'Won't you take up your cross...'. We don't often want to carry the cross though we want to reap the rewards. Thank you for sharing. I pray many will be touched by this piece so much that they will take up their cross. It works as a reminder for believers residing in complacency and as an evangelising tool for unbelievers - I love it.

Very nice Brook. I especially loved this line "The faintest sigh of our breath He can hear".
Keep up the great work! May God bless.
