Momma, she went home today, her bodily suffering
has been stayed, She's in the loving arms, of he, he who died on calvery there is no more pain
for her you see, cause Momma, now she's free
Asleep she lay, sleep, until that day that faithful day, when the trump of God will sound,
that day we all await anxiously; most of us we
knowing our fates, and we wait, yes we wait
but as we wait, we wait on Him,
saying come Lord Jesus from the Throne,
come Lord Jesus, yes we dare, dare to ask for
his return, rid us Lord of the earthful harms, We, all of us have to endure going through life's unpure.
Momma, she went through, she finished her course,
and kept the faith through it all she now takes her place, resting in his loving arms waiting that trump to make it's sound When she'll once again walk without pain and shout the Victory, in his sweet name, Victory in him who made her free, free from her old misery, now the enemy has no more hold on me I'm free I'm free she'll shout the Victory!.
And we who remain, rejoyce in the liberty, of this freedom fighting soldier has been set free knowing that our day is coming when we'll sore the clouds together, when he parts the sky asunder We'll see His glorious face, be caught up to meet Him in His dwelling place.
Come on up, he'll shout to met him, we'll rise to the occasion gladly leaving this inhabitant to reside in peace forever; in the new Jeruselum evenso Lord come and get us we are ready, so Lord come.
