A momentary period,
greeted with mixed feelings,
spread across our borders,
the Hausa traders exclaimed,
Allah-hu-Akbar!
Thousand gathered under the dark influence,
time to acknowledge the creator,
others cried to Allah,
their anxiety waxing stronger,
the fear of the unknown,
I wish our half-brothers knew,
it was a natural phenomenon,
assigned to test our faith.
