Words are more powerful than many perceive. It has been the cost of whether or not some fail or succeed. Words can break one's spirit causing much pain. If said harshly enough, words can have one to believe that all of their hard work is in vain. Words spoken by the evil one can set the tone of the day. Remember, misery loves company & would love to have you miserable in his way.
If confronted with words appearing to be cruel and untrue, look to the heavens regaining the strength given to you.
Know that many will speak evil things. Mostly out of jealousy, anger, and even spite, but be assured that your weeping will endure for only a night.
Rise and be the one who speaks pleasing words to all. Do not be a part of those causing pain with words in hopes that one should fall.
A good word spoken soft and true will reveal the God that is in you. Be that someone that many may have never had. Share a word that will prevent another from being sad.
I tell you that on the day of judgment, people will have to account for every careless word they
speak (Matthew 12:36)
