Child With Child
Shining eyes, sunkissed cheeks
play their merry games
one aligator, two...
scamper they away
Mischevious eyes, dimpled cheeks
play their age old games
pulling hair, tattle tale
the language of the day
Gleaming eyes, crimson cheeks
play their starstruck games
swirling minds, racing hearts
confusion does but reign
Blinded eyes, burning cheeks
play forbidden games
sweet kiss, soft touch
enthralled in ecstacy
Tear filled eyes, swollen cheeks
victim of the game
not yet woman, yet not quite child
ensnared somwhere between
