A Summer's Day

by: Esther Haug (11 year old daughter of Donna Haug)

There once was a man
His name was Bart
And he was not smart.
Well, not so smart Bart
Was pushing his cart of art
and lots of bunches of crunchy lunches.
Later we went down to the beach
We saw a man eating a peach
And having some fun in the sun.
The dude in a mood
said the pool was too cool
and his hair got messed up
in the fair.

This zany poem has lots of fun rhymes - it made me chuckle. Good job!
