What is Love worth
When all that befalls is hurt
Thinking that we're walking as one
Hand in hand with a King's son
Laughing, talking, joking, kissing Thinking that it's all good
When the disrespect sets in, knowing that you shoulda, woulda, could
Didn't have to look the other woman up and down
Wondering why I continue to hang around
I weigh the facts
Knowing that I am a Queen in tact
Do you understand that to loose me
Would be absolutely, unbelieveable...don't you see
As your woman what's needed to know
That I am all that you need and want...for me to grow
Into that fertile field of ripeness
You being my rain should make me more not less
How do I know when you hold me tight at night
That it's me you're loving and not what you pondered with your sight
Yes it hurts me now
You say, "How?"
When you just looked but didn't touch
Not realizing that you looked too much!
I say to you,"go ahead and do your thang"
Hurt my feelings and all that will remain
Is you without me feeling sad and crappy
I'll be walking hand in hand with someone who truly makes me happy
This is what I call a Love Lost In Hurt
Because what you once did amounts to little or no worth
