Thank you for another day
Through hurdles along the way
For the life that stirs within
For the forgiveness of my sin
For my friends far and wide
And for you Lord by my side
Thank you for the earth and sky
For the times I wonder why
For the work I have to do
And all the leisure hours too
Thank you for my dwelling place
And for all your eternal grace
For the family that come and go
And all the love that’s there I know.
