When I am at my poorest; only then~
am I truly rich.
When I am at my absolute worst; only then~
can you work the very best.
When I am at my very weakest point; only then~
You become my Strong Tower.
When I feel I am nothing of value, only then~
You reveal your wonderful identity, which shows me I am of worth. In You alone is where my value is found.
When I am stripped down to nothing, only then~
You become my everything. You are my beloved Creator, who predestined the days of my life before the beginning of time, and I desire to spend all my earthly days living for You. My soul takes delight in serving You my awesome King.
Keep me seeking; keep the eyes of my heart alert to see Your will being worked out; keep me weak so I need to depend on You for strength...
ONLY THEN~Will I be wholly dependent upon You for everything.
When I've finished my Father's work on earth; shall come the time You'll call this child and servant home to You, and I will attain the glorious and blessed hope my heart has longed for all my life.
I will be made complete and whole this day and rejoice forever with praise. And bowing down before the Lamb that was slain for me, I'll forever worship Thee in adoration for all eternity. Amen
