I heard a good message today from our pastor. He basically said this: People already know the bad news and the consequences of not knowing God’s Son, but not everyone knows the good news of knowing God’s Son and His Grace that saves and strengthens us.
If you have Jesus and His Grace that has changed your life and has allowed to you to do great things because of God’s gifts to you, then tell the world what God is doing through you and for you. If you are not experiencing and doing great things through Christ who strengthens you, then maybe you do not know Jesus the way that you should know Him, and you should spend time getting to know Him better.
Ever since the beginning of time, people who loved God, stood out above all the rest. They had a wisdom and had abilities, that non believers didn’t have. With the power of God, they could interpret dreams, turn rods into serpents, find water in the desert, have phenomenal successes in all of their livelihoods, conquer large kingdoms with very few men, move a whole sea out of their way, and the list goes on and on. In the New Testament there were just as amazing things done for people, through the men who loved and served God and proclaimed the name of Jesus to the world.
Christians should not just stand out as loving people. There are a lot of loving people that are not Christians. Everyone is given the Love of God, but not everyone is entrusted with the power of God.
