I imagined myself on the edge of a brook, listening to the water's sound,
the peace of the water's murmur entered my heart, for here is where Jesus can be found.
I saw little rocks laying about by the brook, and there seemed to be words written there so I went to look picking up one then another, to see what was written with such care.
I saw one said 'love' and i held on to that rock, and set it down in front of me,
and then picked up another that said 'hope' and liked it too, and soon found another that said 'free.'
Soon my pile of rocks was getting so large, that I needed to spread them out and so I placed each one on the shore of that brook, and the brook's murmur became a shout.
The water was shouting out the Lord's name, this Jesus who had set my heart free and each of the little rocks with words on them, were gifts that He gave to me.
As I looked at each one, I knew it was true, for with Jesus I had 'peace,' 'love,' and 'hope,' all of these things filled up my heart, so that through all of my problems, He'd help me cope.
There was one rock right in the middle of the brook, laying under the water, and I knew that this was the rock that was for that one special dream, the one that hadn't yet come true.
I went and stood in the middle of the water, and stepped up on it and saw a new view, for there ahead I could see that wish was mine, for there with arms outstretched, stood you.
You took my hand and helped me up on the shore, and gave a single flower to me; that flower said 'my heart' and you'd given me yours, and I knew we were meant to be.
Now we live by the brook full of living water, for Jesus is the center of our life,
and the joy that I have is a treasure beyond words, for now I live my dream as your wife!
