There’s A Shepherd On The Mountain

There’s a shepherd in the mountain that is here to guide our way.
And when our souls cry out so softly, He will hear us when we pray.
He will tell us to look unto the hills so soft and green.
For the strength He’s freely given comes from Him,
our Lord and King.
When we face life’s many trials, we need to know He’s always there.
We need to know when we are hurting He’s beside us.
He will touch our hearts within, as we look deep inside for Him.
His peace and strength will soon fill our souls.
There’s a shepherd in the valley, who will stay right by our side.
For when we walk our lonesome valley close to us our Lord abides.
He will guide us on the pathways and help us find the way.
For the love He’s freely given in our hearts will always stay.

When our lives are on the go, we need to learn to take it slow.
We need to take in all the beauty that’s around us.
We need to smell the flowers so sweet and see the trees, the cloud s they meet and His peace will touch our souls.
There’s a shepherd in the heavens who will take our hand in His.
He’ll gently walk us to His mountain we must place our trust in Him. He will keep us close beside Him, He knows our every need.
For the faith He’s freely given flows
From Him to you and me.
