When I received this CD in the mail and opened it up I wasn't sure what to expect. Guilty Wilson is a band made up of Native Americans that play a
punk rock style of music.
When I popped the CD in my stereo and started listening all I could think was Wow! This is some really good sounding music.
As good as their music is I'm very surprised that I haven't heard of this band before now. Their music is as good as anything that I'm hearing on the radio now.
The CD is filled with songs that range from all out punk rock sounding to more melodic in style.
The band also takes a trip down the experimental road with the track, "Rules For The Church," that features a killer thumping bass beat. You'll also find a ballad with the CD's last track, "Help Me."
The songs feature guitar driven sounds with really well done passionate vocals.
The songs are well written and deal with subjects such as, Salvation, God's Grace, living in God's Will and the sharing of your faith.
This CD proves that God's musical rainbow has many styles and I'm glad that I had the chance to hear this part of it.
Do yourself a favor and don't miss out on hearing this CD.
