I am as a farmer, I plant the seeds of God's truths, I cast his word hither and yon.
From the Bible I glean the truths of God and pass them on to those I meet on the road of life.
I know some listen and take his truths to heart, but the ones I am more concerned about are those who are as I was before I met Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
I heard the word too, but heeded it not until I was down and out with no place to go, then I looked up and found my Savior waiting for me to ask Him into my heart.
It is now my life's work to spread the word of God and let another water and let God reap the rewards of our efforts.
How sweet it is to see the word of God grow in the hearts of those who listen and turn to God and allow Him to direct their lives.
Morning, noon, and night I labor in the field of life to help those who are as I was once, a lost soul wandering in the sea of sin, not knowing which way to go.
Gracious is God and powerful is His word, it is loving and strong enough to soften the hardest of hearts, it can change a life in the wink of an eye and bring a sinner before the throne of God.
I am just a farmer working for God, taking His word and sowing it among the lost, praying that it will change their lives, I need not know if it sprouts and grows, I just need to keep on planting His word wherever I go.
This is the gift that God has given me, I pray that through my efforts that some of the lost of this world will take His word into their hearts and allow it to sprout and grow.
Join me in spreading God's word, become as a farmer and cast God's word before all you meet, the pay is little, but the rewards are great.
