THE JOURNEY'S END

The journey has ended,
The ship has docked;
In my Father's mansion splendid-
Weary feet have found their rest.

No… the sun has not set,
It is rising on a new horizon;
Riding on the glorious crest-
Of an eternal wave of life.

The Saviour awaits at the shore,
Guiding gently up the aisle;
No more trials are in store-
No more tears to be shed.

Heavenly lamps are all alight,
Angels' choirs – their trumpets blowing;
Exulting with all their might-
"Enter into the house of the Lord".

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

Hello, this is a gentle and touching poem which also reminds me of the bride comeing to the alter where her beloved awaits. I liked your descriptions here: No… the sun has not set, It is rising on a new horizon; Riding on the glorious crest- Of an eternal wave of life. Thank you for sharing with us, God bless you, littlelight
