The Bible, authored by God himself, is filled with a legacy of fulfilled promises. He is the King and sovereign Lord over all of time including your future and this is His message.
God’s word analyzes motives, rearranges purpose and corrects wrongs. It pierces pride, encourages hope, restores faith and sustains joy.
The word confronts with conviction, reveals with relevance and exposes selfishness. The bible arouses the apathetic, prods the seeking and guides the lost. It exposes illusions, uncovers wickedness and unveils truth.
It helps heal the hurting by providing comfort and confidence. Bible verses can be intelligently intriguing, creatively challenging and can excite the heart like a lightning bolt.
The bible is the solid rock word of the Living God! God’s word always remains unchangeable. It is always up-to-date, always applicable and always auspicious.
Whether it burns like Jeremiah’s bones, (Jeremiah 20:9) whispers like Elijah’s still small voice, (1 Kings 19:12) or decodes wisdom like Daniel’s dreams, the bible still speaks to us today.
It’s an intimate face-to-face communion like Moses and God speaking as friends. (Exodus 33:11)
It offers honesty, authority and power. God’s word calls us into compassion, spurs us into service and delivers us from darkness while opposing strangleholds.
It awakens worship, sparks the Spirit and generously gives out grace. The Word of God comes to us from God working in the lives of believers. (1 Thessalonians 2:13)
To respond actively by obeying God’s word is asking God on the authority of Jesus to permanently change your life forever for Christ.
The bible is relevant to us if Jesus is Lord and Jesus is Lord if the bible is relevant to us.
