I’m not your Superstar!
So don’t treat me like one.
I’m God’s humbled servant
Just doing my part.
Yes I’m His Son but also his
Servant all in One.
That which I do is not to impress you,
But to honor Him who has
Brought me from so far.
By His Grace I stand today,
That’s why I strive to seek His face.
On my knees do I pray.
To acquire the wisdom I need everyday.
So if you must honor me,
Do this one thing.
Don’t treat me as a superstar.
JUST DO YOUR PART!
Then God will always get the praise.
