LESSON FROM THE ANTS
“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its way and be wise! 7 It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, 8 yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.
9 How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest- 11 and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man.” PROVERBS 6:6-11.
The above scripture as we read on looks very simple in nature but the WORD of GOD is full of wisdom and prophecies, even from the above mentioned scriptures the GOD revealed me a very powerful and a profound and astounding message. I give glory honour and praise to our Living GOD Jesus Christ for revealing me the wisdom of the Word of GOD and I am grateful to Him that I share the revelations of the WORD of GOD which HE gave to me as under:
HE first of all talked to me about the acts of ants as given in the Verse 6 ,7,8 and through it HE said to me that Our work of sharing the Gospel of Kingdom Of God should be non-stop , organized, planned ,and visionic in nature. If you read the scripture carefully He has shown us the qualities of ant that ant is a hard-working , organized and is well equipped for the time of summer and thus shows that how ants are well planned and organized and they know the time which is coming ahead .
The theme of the verse 6-8 is that GOD tells us that through HIS scriptures and HIS promises of the II nd coming. He wants us to be like the ants and as ants deposit provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest: We must also do the same, by expanding HIS Kingdom and by bringing out the lost souls in HIS everlasting Kingdom and thereby when He will come in His glorious appearing with all His Saints, He will reward us according to our faith. So we must be hard working in as ants and always be on a mission to save the lost souls and thereby deposit our provisions in summer, that is the winning of the souls for the CHRIST and gather our food at harvest i.e. the day of judgement, our acts and deeds will be tallied by the deposit which we are doing right know for the BODY OF CHRIST.
Verse 9-11 it indicates the Punishment for the people and believers who still says that there is time for the LORD to come and thereby they act as sluggards (Lethargic) and deny the work of the GOD to be done for the Body of Christ. It symbolically indicates the present time line of the CHURCH that is as per the Revelations 3:14 which is the church of Laodicea and in verse 15 GOD say “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!” And in the very next verse 16 God says that about the consequences which the sluggard and lethargic people are going to face i.e.16 So, because you are lukewarm- neither hot or cold –I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” God indeed said to us that we are self centred and self reliant and therefore we do not need GOD and verse 17 says the lord, You say,’ I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing. ’”But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
In verse 11 of PROVERBS 6 indicates the result of the sluggish and cold people that how will the sudden coming of the GOD will affect these people and Luke warm churches. It says that and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man.” This indicates the aweful situation of the people and churches who has not yet accepted LORD Jesus as there Saviour ,that is said by the LORD in Matthew 24:36 “No one knows about the day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the son, but only the father.” This indicates that the coming of our LORD for the Body of Christ (Rapture) is sudden and unexpected, but LORD says for the sons and daughters of light this shall not be an act of fear but of joy.
People just imagine the dilemma of the people who are left behind, the awesome wrath of GOD as described in the Revelations will struck the earth and its inhabitants and they will ask for death but they will not get and so on.
So friends if you have not given your heart and life to JESUS this are the time to accept Jesus as your saviour and thereby have the joy and happiness of the promise of our LORD of the eternal life. Remember what scripture says in ISA 51:8 For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
If you have not yet repented for your sins and do not have the salvation of our LORD pray these prayer as act of faith and Jesus shall come into your heart and reside with you forever .
PRAYER OF REPENTANCE:-
"Father, In the name of JESUS I believe that you died on the cross of Calvary for my sins and through your Blood I have the redemption of my sins and that I am a sinner and accept and repent for all my sins, cleanse me with your Sacreth Blood. JESUS I accept u as the saviour of my life and I give my body, Soul and Spirit in your hands, Come into my heart, lock yourself and throw away the key"- AMEN.
Remember saints GOD has promised us in His scriptures of Revelation 22:12 “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
May GOD bless each one of you and shower His blessings upon all the believers of Body of Christ for know and for ever, JESUS name –Amen!

Welcome, Ashish, and well said. We can indeed learn so much from those busy little ants. The Lord through you is encouraging us to do something about those lost souls, and anyone writing with that sentiment will always get my vote.
