(I still have each one) 50-The number of excuses I give myself daily to get out of writing. 42-The number of chewed “lucky pens” that have made their way to my mouth and met their doom. 27-The number of short stories and plays I’ve actually completed (yes that includes the final spell check). 27-The number of successful short stories that sit idly on my desk. 21-The number of “teach yourself how-to-become a better writer” books I’ve read. 14-The number of incomplete journals I have scattered around my house. 11- The number of erasers sitting on my office desk. 10-The number of my many different personalities I exhibit depending on what “writing mood” I’m in. 5-The number of my family members whom I glean as my source for writing my crazy, quirky characters. 4.71-The number in my bank account. 3-The number of stories I’ve written that I truly love. 2-The number of computers I have which contain countless documents, files and pages of ideas for stories. 1- The number of writing contests I’ve won. 0-The number of articles, stories or skits I have published. Unlimited-The amount of my passion, determination and commitment that’s written into every square inch of my body. Who am I? I am a writer.
