There痴 no growing old in God痴 family
How nice that sounds!
I値l always be His little girl
Running to Him with my pigtails flapping
He値l always be my Father- big and strong
I値l never outgrow sitting on His knee
And whispering in His ear
My silly little pleas
That seems to be the greatest injustice done to me
I値l never outgrow burying my head on His shoulders
And crying my heart out
I値l never outgrow clasping my tiny hand in His big ones
I値l never outgrow asking Him to carry me
When my tiny feet are too weary for one more step
And what's more- He never expects me to grow up too much
To outgrow being His little girl.
