Yesterday, I went to the doctor with the mother of my son's baby. The doctor was wonderful, as he showed us the ultrasound and talked about the baby. He was even more wonderful when he said a prayer for the baby, the couple and both families.
It's not going to go away, and I can not pray that it will. I saw with my own eyes, that small little human, actively moving around in the womb. Many friends have said to us, "Babies are a blessing from heaven, no matter how they are conceived. Be happy about this miracle of life." I believe that, and am ready to grow into this new role I am going to be assuming.
I saw my grandchild, yesterday. Now, this baby will be added to my list of family members that I pray for daily. This is changing my son's life drastically, and all of our lives. I know our lives will be blessed very much by this baby.
