Looking for the connection
that lasts beyond a prayer
To take away the memories
of past pains hard to bear
Finding love within a family
Where hearts come into play
Can be difficult to do
When relationships decay
We turn to our Maker
For strength, courage and hope
He grasps our hand in His
As we near the end of our rope
Life is a difficult journey
That most do choose to endure
And that is the significant blessing
For the "ride" provides the cure
For if we fail to see
All the gifts the journey provides
We miss out on the moment
When humanness and Spirit collide
So, hold on tight and look to the Sky
The answers are up Above
If we can simply Trust and Obey
