While this is the debut CD from the band it's far from their first musical effort. Each of the band's members have gained experience playing in other bands or as solo artist.
The band's musicial style is an infusion of pop and rock. The song lyrics express the band's philosophy of the need for reconciliation among people and sharing of the Gospel with everyone.
Band lead singer and songwriter Mike Musick believes that the band's songs should serve as a challenge to believers and a beacon to those who are searching.
The first single from the release, "Alive In Me" is a rich sounding song that deals with the emotional experience of feeling Christ's Love for yourself.
The CD also features the rich guitar power ballad
, "Love Rain Down." You'll also find a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. on the song, "Long Road To Memphis."
The CD's final track is the upbeat, clap your hands and tap your toe's song, "Brother Sun." It talks about how when we all work together that we're able to accomplish anything.
This release is a really solid effort from the band filled with both good music and meaty lyrics. If the band continues down this musical track both them and their music should be around for a long time to come.
