This sharing makes me want to wrap blankets around the shoulders of all true homeless - roofed or not, to cover them in prayer, to look them in the eye.
This is a sobering reminder of the depth of God's Love, of how He provides to us what we alone can not, unjudgmental, even through pain, and hope with outstretched hands.
Free of filler words, this poem reads best slowly.

break the pavement,
cold,
she sleeps on.
Make it soft and warm
tonight." Powerful image! Wonderful poem!! Thank you.

Lord, please do be with Donna this day. Make Your love palpable to her.
