A good friend and I were discussing things of the Lord as was the usual and she asked me a question.
“Can you explain the Five Fold Ministry to me?”
In my hand I had a pencil. I raised the pencil and said the following;
The Teacher will explain that the pencil contains 13 minerals, and the eraser is derived from a rubber tree.
The Pastor will say that this is a good looking pencil, and once you take it into your hands you will be able to write notes, letters and most importantly journal with it and pour your heart out to the Lord.
The Evangelist would say that this is the best pencil that can be found, you can’t live your life without it, and you would do well by taking this pencil and making it a part of your life.
The Prophet would say, Take the pencil now says the Lord.
Finally, the Apostle would say any of the above depending what he picks up from your spirit. The Apostle functions in all of the five fold ministry gifts, some gifting being stronger than others and would say the most suitable explanation to you.
