The race is not given to the swift nor to the strong but it’s given to the one that endureth until the end

When the troubles pour on me like a mighty rain, when my strength is drawn from me and I can’t do anything. When I feel like giving up on life and my troubles too, Jesus says hold on to me, and I will see you through.
When the tears are pouring from my eyes at such a rapid pace, when my hearts is broke in pieces all over the place. When my cries of test and trial seem to never cease, Jesus says hold on to me, and I will give you peace.
When the enemy attacks my body or tries to seduce my mind, when my friends walk out on me, leaving me behind, Jesus says hold on to me, a closer friend you will never find.
He said through your test and trials I will see you through, in your pain and sorrow I will comfort you, I will never leave you was his promise made to me, if I just hold on to Jesus I’ll reach my destiny.
