AMOS WAS A SHEPHERD
Amos was a shepherd
a gardener as well.
Though not enrolled in Prophet School
God gave him much to tell.
Nehemiah was a servant
Moses couldn't speak
Samuel was just a child
David tended sheep.
God doesn't always use
the people we'd expect --
He sees right through the outward part;
He looks for an obedient heart.
